NIU Celebrates the Life of Storied Code Breaker, NSA Leader, and Advisor: Ann Caracristi (1921-2016)

Ann Caracristi, an iconic member of America’s greatest generation with close ties to National Intelligence University passed away on January 10th 2016 in Washington, DC. Ms. Caracristi began her career as a code breaker in WWII and rose through the ranks to become one of the highest ranking members of the U.S. intelligence community by serving as Deputy Director of the National Security Agency.
