Afterburners After NIU! NIU Class of 2015 Graduate Heads to the USAF Thunderbirds

National Intelligence University class of 2015 graduate Major Kevin “Löwen” Walsh was recently selected as the next Director of Operations for the U.S. Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds. Walsh amassed nearly 2,000 hours in the F-16 and has flown over 100 combat sorties in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
