National Intelligence University Named one of 2012's Biggest Breakthroughs by C4ISR Journal
16 November 2012
Each year, C4ISR Journal scans the world of networks, sensors and intelligence, looking for the new technologies and new efforts changing the way military forces and policymakers do their jobs with the top candidates broken down into five categories: sensors, innovations, organizations, network systems, and platforms. The NIU was named one of 2012's biggest breakthroughs in the organizations category, noting that it has become the center of academic life for members of the Intelligence Community. The nomination appears in the October 2012 edition of the C4ISR Journal, which cites the school's new name and broadened mission, its new Master of Science and Technology Intelligence degree, recent publications and the success of the University's International Intelligence Fellows Program as reasons for the selection.
